Hailing from Vancouver, BC, Madelyn Read brings a unique alt-country sound, blending folk and country roots with modern perspectives. Praised by Americana UK as a “wonderful example of grafting new perspectives onto folk and country roots,” her music draws inspiration from Joni Mitchell, First Aid Kit, and I’m With Her.
